Stay At Claridges
Consisting of a cluster of 132 different rooms and suites, The Claridges, New Delhi, offers you a plethora of rooms to choose from. Adequately equipped with all the facilities that you could possibly need, these rooms proffer an unconventional blend of the elegant style of architecture that characterized early 19th century Britain and the contemporary modern styles. The hotel has two sections, ‘the old wing’ and ‘the cabana wing’. However, the one thing that is common to both these wings is the need to deliver luxury at its best.
The colossal Claridges Suite will spoil any visitor for choice. Spread over 1280 sq. feet, these 4 rooms offer luxury at its best. The massive windows of these plush rooms directly face the perfectly manicured Garden area. The Gold Spider marble floor, honey onyx doors, gold plated washbasins – all have an enchanting effect. The room houses a powder room, a walk in closet and a plunge bath tub.
This suite has an old school vibe to it. With a modest sized bed, an aesthetically pleasing ambience, this room is ideal for any weary traveller to relax. In fact, the specialty of these rooms is that each room is customized and no two rooms resemble each other. Yet, they all have an array of facilities such as a mini bar, cable satellite, free wireless internet, turndown service, dry cleaning – to name a few.
Having an ambience of the time of British colonialism, these 28 rooms have been carefully crafted with the theme of classical British times. This is pretty evident in the way the room has been designed – be it the frills of the bed, the classic white walls, the antique artwork, lofty arches, or the classical paintings, leather and wood interiors. Even the shower chamber has been designed keeping the overall décor in mind. Extending over 425 sq. feet, this is a pretty airy room to accommodate all the needs of a traveler.
Spread over an expanse of 350 sq. feet, these spacious 15 rooms are illuminated by sensor-driven lights. The rooms are adorned by an ultra soft bed with a mattress having a thread count of 400, grand rosewood furniture and colossal windows. It also has a closet, an iron along with ironing board and an array of other facilities and amenities to make your stay comfortable.
The hotel has a total of 75 Superior rooms; each of which is spread over an area of 280 sq. feet. Though the room is compactly designed, it is equipped to meet all the needs and requirements of a vacationer – Forest Essentials toiletries, Tea/Coffee maker, central air conditioning and telephone facilities, to name a few. Sizable beds and comfortable sofas adorn the rooms. The giant glass windows, which face the lush green trees along the road facing the high profile diplomatic area, adorn the room.
