A Man of Taste!

Our highly celebrated kitchen is led by a truly talented Chef! Sahil Sabhlok is known for his distinctive flair for the dramatic and glamorous. Drawing inspiration from his mother’s cooking, recipes handed down by generations, and a resolve to bring together diverse cuisines, Chef Sahil marries all three into a divine culinary experience with every meal at The Claridges.

Right since childhood, he was instinctively drawn to the kitchen where he drew inspiration from greats like Thomas Keller, Marco Pierre White and Gordon Ramsey. After a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, and further honing his skills with Management Training Programme in Food Production, Chef Sahil has worked at numerous famed hotels including Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur; The Westin, Hyderabad, and Taj Lands End, Mumbai before joining The Claridges, New Delhi.

At The Claridges, he has been instrumental in planning, implementing and overseeing the diverse and unique menus across award winning restaurants with an aim to make the hotel a culinary hub with his wealth of experience across Mediterranean, oriental, Indian and world cuisines. He oversees a team of talented young chefs, allowing each specialty restaurant to retain its core premium focus with a modern twist, ushering them into a new era of flavours and experiences.

In his own words, “As a Chef I love the adrenaline rush and the feeling you experience when diners leave happy.” His culinary philosophy is as simple and delightful as his dishes- Taste matters!
