    New Delhi, 16th May 2016: The Claridges, New Delhi embarks on an all-new season of art showcasing modern contemporary artists in association with Crayon Art Capital.

    The exhibition on display at The Claridges reaffirms its longstanding dedication to showcasing art and celebrating some of India's best contemporary artists. The art initiative at The Claridges seeks to capture the history of art and cultures with some of India’s most celebrated artists. The resplendent cultural visual experience goes beyond the four walls of the gallery to encompass the property with signature artwork."

    The Claridges and Crayon Art Gallery are incredibly excited to showcase some of the best contemporary artists like Anju Dodia, Binoy Varghese, Farhad Husain, George Martin PJ, Sihlpa Gupta, Thukral & Tagra, TV Santhosh in this show.

    This unique initiative by The Claridges and Crayon Art Capital celebrates the incomparable and resplendent history of our country's inimitable culture and association with fine arts.   • The Claridges Hotels & Resorts wins big at Times Food & Nightlife Awards 2016

    New Delhi, 4th March 2016 –The Claridges Hotel Group bagged top honours at the highly esteemed Times Food & Nightlife Awards 2016. The event attended by Top Hoteliers and Food critics saw Sevilla known for its Mediterranean and European fare win the 'Best Restaurant in the European Fine Dining' category and Dhaba by Claridges, Saket win 'Best Restaurant in the North Indian Cuisine in the Casual Dining' category. This was Dhaba by Claridges’ first Times Food Awards' nomination and award and Xth for Sevilla which has won the jury over in the past as well.

  • The Claridges, New Delhi announces the appointment of their new Executive Chef Sahil Sabhlok

    New Delhi, 22 April 2015 – The Claridges, New Delhi, widely recognized for seamlessly blending old world charm and modern elements, is proud to announce the appointment of Sahil Sabhlok as the Executive Chef. Chef Sahil Sabhlok comes to The Claridges, New Delhi with over a decade of experience in the hospitality and restaurant industry with an aim to make The Claridges, New Delhi an epicurean hub with his experience across diverse cuisines.

    He will be instrumental in planning, implementing and overseeing the diverse and unique menus across all our restaurants. He will lead a team of talented young chefs, allowing each specialty restaurant to retain its core premium focus, leading them into a new era. Prior to joining The Claridges, New Delhi, Chef Sahil Sabhlok, was with Taj Lands End, Mumbai and his career has also seen him play an integral role at various flagship hotels across the country over the years.

  • The Claridges, New Delhi debuts at the Congress of UICH Les Clefs d’Or

    New Delhi, 1 July 2015: The Claridges, New Delhi is proud to announce their first ever participation in the annual General meeting organised by the Concierge Association of India between 3rd - 5th July in Kolkata and 9th Asian Congress of UICH Les Clefs d’Or in Tokyo, Japan from 24th - 27th August 2015.

    Nitin Srivastava, Chief Concierge at The Claridges will be representing the hotel at both conferences. Mr. Srivastava, a veteran hotelier with over eight of extensive experience in the hospitality industry is the holder of the Golden Keys from Les’ Clef’s D’or. He also has experience in areas of providing consistent high standard and personalised services. Nitin was one the youngest Chief concierge in the country and also is one of the youngest concierge members to be accredited with golden keys at the age of twenty eight. Nitin has been instrumental in generating incremental revenues for the hotel in the last one year significantly surpassing previous year sales.

    U.I.C.H India chapter has 71 golden key members and based on the Nitin’s contributions and engagement with the association he is one of the chosen few.

    Concierge Association of India is a national concierge organization by gold key members of U.I.C H (Union Internationale des Concierges d’Hôtels) that provides a myriad of personal and corporate services, customized to fit our elite hotel guests’ individual needs and requests.     New Delhi, 6 July, 2015 – The Claridges, New Delhi, acknowledged for its old world elegance and contemporary luxury, is proud to announce the appointment of Mr Anuj Bidani as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Claridges, New Delhi and The Nabha Residence, Mussoorie.   • The Claridges, New Delhi celebrates ‘World Environment Day 2015’

    New Delhi; 03 June 2015: In observance of World Environment Day 2015, the biggest and most widely celebrated global day for positive environmental action, The Claridges, New Delhi will take multiple steps to make a difference in their own way.

    On June 5th, in a partnership with Mahindra & Mahindra, The Claridges will offer India’s first automatic electric car, with solar charging and zero emissions, the Mahindra e2o to all guests for travelling within the city to promote eco-friendly travels. The team will also urge guests to use bicycles available at the hotel instead of cars to cover short distances.

    The Claridges is also organizing a ‘Green Walk’ - a tree plantation drive in the area with their staff and guests. As a part of the initiative, the hotel will host a special screening of Davis Guggenheim’s The Inconvenient Truth to explain the dangers of global warming. A short video will also be screened on how to conserve natural resources and energy.

    Planters will be handed over to all the guests at the time of checkout as a memorabilia and to advocate for the betterment of the environment. The hotel will also encourage electronic billing to save paper. To increase awareness of and dedication towards the cause, the hotel’s staff will also conduct a session for all taxi drivers around the hotel on fuel conservation and vehicle maintenance.

    Keeping in mind the current state of the depreciating fuel reserves, Sevilla will be candle lit for the evening with an endeavor to promote conservation of resources. Adopting a no-wastage policy, the hotel will have no bins at the hotel’s café. With a special menu of greens and sustainable ingredients, The Claridges will strengthen their support to World Environment Day.
